Vietnam
Vietnam runs on three weather systems, and the mistake is treating it as one country with one season. Hanoi and the limestone bays of the north want the dry cool of late autumn; the central coast around Hoi An is at its best in the clear weeks before May; the Mekong south barely notices winter. We build routes that move with the dry line, not against it.
Best for
- Street food
- Limestone seascapes
- River life
- Two-week arcs
When to go
- Oct–Apr
- The north's window: Hanoi's cool months and calm water in the karst bays.
- Feb–May
- The centre, dry and warm — Hoi An and Hue before the heat builds.
- Dec–Apr
- The south's dry season; Mekong mornings and island add-ons.
