Who we are
A small company in Indore, run by people who’d rather be traveling.
Hideaways is a travel company in Indore, in the middle of India. It was started by Shailesh and Reena Vishwakarma — an engineer and a management professional who spent years in the corporate world and left it to do the thing they actually cared about: planning trips.
Today we’re a small team of people who travel as much as they plan. That isn’t a tagline. The person who books your lodge has slept in it. The person who briefs your naturalist has walked the same forest. We plan the places we know, and we say so when we don’t.
We’re a company, not a portal. No call centre, no ticket queue, no “your request is important to us.” Just a small group of people in Indore who know your trip by name — and are ethical, hands-on, and a little obsessive about the details.

Most travel today is self-serve — you assemble it yourself across a dozen tabs, and when something goes wrong at 11pm in a strange city, you’re on hold. We work the other way. You get one point of personal contact, reachable on WhatsApp or a call, round the clock, for the length of your trip.
Because we’ve built real relationships where we send people — lodges, guides, drivers, the families who host you — problems get solved on the ground, fast, usually before you’ve finished typing the message. We don’t sell packages or deals. We plan the trip you couldn’t have planned yourself.
