Georgia

Georgia in May, when the Caucasus passes open, is one of the great value-for-wonder propositions we plan anywhere. Watchtower villages under 5,000-metre walls, a wine tradition running back millennia in buried clay, and a supra table culture that treats hospitality as a competitive sport. Tbilisi's old town leans over sulphur baths and stays up late.
